LL For Sexual Therapy
Do you feel that your sexual desire/appetite/confidence/prowess (delete or expand upon as necessary) has improved since taking a lover/lovers?
When I first joined LL I remember telling my first lover that I may as well be a virgin because although I have been married for my entire adult life my experience of sex has been very boring and uneventful to the extreme that I wondered if there was something wrong with me or if indeed I was even capable of enjoying sex. Eighteen months on and * lovers later I am reflecting on some great experiences and as the first guy referred to it "The blossoming of Cinderella" and boy have I moved on! I could have paid good money for therapy (yes I considered it) but I can guarantee it wouldn't have yielded quite such excellent results as this!

To expand on appetite - definite improvement. Finding a new lover is like finding a new recipe - interesting new texture, form, taste... and you always want more… Mind you, not much of that happening in my world just now, just the expansion of waistline without the gourmet delights...

Years ago, there was a lovely lady on here who actually regarded her numerous activities here as therapy for her lovers, and possibly for herself too. I am not sure what they thought of it but she was here for a few years and she went through the time here without doing any harm. There's a lot to be said for that

Blimey... you are posing some big questions lately, Cinders!
 Possibly my confidence has grown. Not sure. Anyway, there is nothing quite so potent as a woman in her fifties who looks after herself and knows her way around a travelodge bedroom.... That is confidence lol!Prowess... well, that would have increased yes... you learn more and more each time and boy, oh boy, is it not a fun learning curve??! There is always something new to be learnt and what fun discovering together... Appetite and sexual desire has grown enormously but like anything... the more you do it, the more adept you become  and the more you keep wanting to do it. I am no different to the girl I was in my twenties with my string of steady boyfriends, except for knowing there is a finite time I can enjoy all this. Age does funny things to you... I just don't worry about anything in the bedroom any more but I never did anyway really so I don't know why I am saying that. In fact, the one thing that has changed is the limits of my imagination maybe... but perhaps that is governed by age/confidence?
